Rabbi Greenspoon

Rabbi David Greenspoon has dedicated his rabbinic career to providing compassionate support to individuals and families facing death, mourning, and loss. He has served on a Chevra Kadisha, trained hospice teams and Navy chaplains on Jewish end-of-life practices, and created new rituals for mourning.His article Pain Beyond Sorrow, exploring grief after abusive relationships, was featured as the cover story in The Baltimore Jewish Times. In 2021, Rabbi Greenspoon founded Jewtique Concierge Rabbinic Services to support Jewish individuals unaffiliated with a congregation. Known for his warmth, empathy, and pastoral care, he has positively impacted hundreds of lives. A two-time U.S. Navy veteran, he served on active duty from 1981–1985 and as a reserve chaplain from 1989–1996.
